BATAAN – Bataan police’s aggressive anti-crime campaign led to the arrest on Wednesday of a most wanted person and another individual for rape.
Bataan police director col. Romell Velasco said joint elements of the Bagac police and personnel of PIU and CIDT Bataan conducted a manhunt operation resulting in the arrest of Jaypee Caido, 37, of Bgy. Bagumbayan, Bagac, Bataan and listed as no. 10 wanted person of Bagac.
Caido was nabbed based on a warrant issued by the Balanga RTC for two counts of acts lascivious.
Meanwhile, Jonn Robert Segalla, 38, a resident of Bgy. San Pablo, Dinalupihan, was arrested by barangay tanods at Purok 4, Bgy. San Pablo, Dinalupihan, Bataan and turned over to the Dinalupihan police for rape.
Velasco said the said Bataan police will continue to relentlessly conduct anti-crime operations
