3 HVTs  yield P400K shabu in Angeles City sting

CAMP OLIVAS — Three high-value targets on Tuesday were arrested and over P400K worth of shabu were seized from them in an entrapment  operation in Angeles City.

In a report to PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, Angeles City police chief Col. Diosdado Fabian said members of the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit (ACDEU), Police Station 2, CMFC, and TMRU ACPO conducted a buy-bust on 1st Street, Plaridel 2, Barangay Amsic, Angeles City resulting to the arrest of three suspects identified as Jerry Amigo, Jerico Ancao and Edmark Codilla.

Recovered from them were  five plastic sachets containing  shabu weighing at least 60 grams valued at P408,000 and the marked money.

The three suspects will be charged with violation of Section 11 Article 11 of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

“Your police here in Central Luzon will have no let-up on our crackdown on all forms of lawlessness especially illegal drugs amidst this pandemic,“ Baccay said.
