5 drug traffickers yield P3M shabu in Pampanga

CAMP OLIVAS – Over P3 million worth of shabu were seized from five suspects in separate drug operations in Pampanga over the weekend.

Members of the Guagua police on Saturday conducted an entrapment in Bgy. San Matias, Guagua, resulting in the arrest of four suspects identified as Johaiver Samer, alias “Justin,” 18; Lance Jefferson, 20; Jelanour Darimbang, 18; and Roberto Acerden, 56.

Seized from the suspects were one sling bag, a small weighing scale, a cell phone; one Toyota Vios with plate number WMI 355; six medium to large transparent plastic sachets containing shabu weighing at least  240 grams valued at P1,632,000, and four P500 bills marked money.

Meanwhile,  joint operating troops of San Simon police and  RPDEU-3 arrested  Alimar Ali alias “Mar”, 31, of Bgy. Mabiga, Mabalacat City, in a buy-bust in Bgy. Sta Monica, San Simon.

Confiscated from him were one  knot-tied transparent plastic bag and five pieces plastic sachets containing  shabu weighing at least 205 grams worth P1,394,000, an ID, a cell phone, a body bag, marked and boodle money, and a plateless motorcycle.

All the suspects will be charged for violations of Sec. 5 and 11, Art II of RA 9165.

PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said the Central Luzon police force is always on its toes to eradicate the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region.
