Four Chinese nationals and a Taiwanese were arrested on Thursday, yielding some P3,450,000 worth of shabu in an entrapment led by members of the PDEA Central Luzon.

Authorities identified the suspects as Chinese nationals Stephen George Lui, 76, of 13A St. John Street, New Tensuan Site; Chi Wai Cheung, 55, of Tuen Mun, Hong Kong; Qinglong Liu, of Marina Seaview Residences, Parañaque City; alias LELE, of Marina Seaview Residences, Parañaque City; and Taiwanese Julian Wei Tang Yao, 47, of 1711 Adriatico, Malate, Manila.

The operation, jointly conducted by the PDEA Central Luzon, PDEA-NCR, PDEA-SES, Paranaque police and SPD DEU-DID at Marina Seaview Pacific Avenue, Barangay Dongalo, yielded one blue box labeled as Traditions Chest containing some 500 grams of shabu worth P3,450,000, three identification cards, two cellular phones, a blue wallet, and the marked money.

Authorities said that the arrest was the result of month-long surveillance on the foreigners, who will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165.
