
CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS — A mentally-ill man armed with a bladed weapon was shot dead on Tuesday after assaulting a responding police officer in Bulacan.
In a report to PRO3 Director Brig. Gen.Matthew P. Baccay, Bulacan police acting director Col. Charlie Cabradilla said Ricardo Agno, 42, of Sto. Tomas, Sta. Maria, Bulacan, ran amok and tried to hack several individuals who managed to dodge and run away for safety.
When a police officer tried to pacify Agno, he aggressively assaulted the officer, prompting the cop to shoot the suspect.

The suspect was rushed to Rogaciano Mercado Memorial Hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.
The Bulacan police launched a probe into the incident and appealed to the public to refrain from making speculations until reports have been conclusive.
