BATAAN police director Col. Romell Velasco reported the death of a man through stabbing, following a heated argument with his neighbor in Pilar town.
Velasco cited the report of Pilar police chief Maj. Rizaldy Rubio, saying the incident happened in Purok Gitna, Bgy. Sta. Rosa, Pilar.
Rubio said victim Eugene Arabos Balor, 21, a painter residing at Dilig St., Sta. Rosa, was walking home with his friend Joel Ortega Bayangos.
Upon reaching the house of 41-year-old Amadeo Halamani Roma, Balor asked him to tie his dog as they were passing through and it might bite.
The two began to argue when suddenly Roma, 41, stabbed the victim using a bolo while one Felisisimo Solomon hugged Balor.
After the incident, the victim escaped accompanied by his friend while the suspects ran towards their house.
Victim was taken to the St. Joseph Hospital by concerned bystanders but was declared dead on arrival.
A follow-up operation conducted by the Pilar police resulted to the arrest of the suspects but the bolo used in the incident was not recovered.
A case of homicide is being prepared against the suspects.
