A teacher was killed in a vehicular accident in Orani, Bataan on Saturday, Nov. 5.
Initial reports from the Bataan police said a DepEd service bus driven by Marcelino Oliva, 62, of SJDM, Bulacan, was travelling on Vicinal Road in Bgy. Tala, Orani, Bataan when the vehicle’s breaks malfunctioned, causing it to fall off a cliff.
The bus was carrying 47 teachers from the Payatas Elementary School in Quezon City as passengers.
The driver and other passengers sustained injuries and were given medical attention by the responding medics.
