ARAYAT, Pampanga — Mayoralty candidate Maria Lourdes “Madir” Alejandrino assured that local residents here are supporting Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda’s re-election bid because of his programs and projects that have improved the lives of Arayat residents.
Alejandrino said the overwhelming reception of local residents during Gov. Pineda’s weekend motorcade is a testament to the support of local residents.
Residents were seen holding placards with messages of support for Gov. Pineda, while some held streamers and posters of Gov. Pineda and his running mate Vice Gov. Lilia Pineda.
The governor’s motorcade, which stretched for almost a kilometer, was received by hundreds of residents who lined the streets and cheered Gov. Pineda and the local candidates of the town.
Pineda was joined by Alejandrino’s local Kambilan slate in an almost day-long motorcade of the different barangays of the town.
They were with Third District Board Member Ananias “Jun” Canlas Jr. and Arayat incumbent Mayor Emmanuel “Bon” Alejandrino who is now running for vice mayor.
“Walang mapagsidlan ‘yung saya.
The mayoralty bet served as Executive Assistant under the Office of the Governor as the Program Coordinator of “Alagang Nanay” for the Municipality of Arayat. Through Gov. Pineda’s programs, the town received several assistances for health, education, agriculture, scholarships among others.
