CAMP GENERAL ALEJO S SANTOS – An armed robber was killed in a police encounter in Bgy. Lumbac, Pulilan, Bulacan on Thursday.
Bulacan police acting director Col. Charlie Cabradilla said members of the Pulilan police responded to a report that an armed man took the money and motorcycle of a victim in Bgy. Taal, Pulilan.
In the hot pursuit operation, a man fitting the description of the suspect and victim’s motorcycle was flagged down by police officers in Lumbac, Pulilan.
However, the suspect did not stop, pulled out a gun and fired shots at the police officers who retaliated, killing him.
