AU Defense Attaché visits NOLCOM Headquarters

TARLAC CITY – Expressing openness to explore possible collaboration, Australian Defense Attaché Colonel Paul Barta visited the Headquarters of Armed Forces of the Philippines Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM).

Aside from Camp Aquino, Barta will also visit other units within NOLCOM’s area of responsibility to introduce new members of the Australian embassy defense section, and meet other senior military officers. 

For his part, NOLCOM Deputy Commander Brigadier General Leandro Abeleda III affirmed the mutual agreement towards enhancing security cooperation between the two nations. 

“Let us continue to strengthen our relationship and enhance cooperation towards capacitating our armed forces in performing their mandate as the protectors of our people and as guardians of peace in both our area of operations,” Abeleda noted.
