Azurin urges CL cops to heed Abalos’ call; PRO3 director leads signing of courtesy resignation

CAMP OLIVAS — PNP chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin, during his visit at the Police Regional Office 3 on Friday, urged all Central Luzon police officials with the ranks of full-fledged colonel and generals to support and heed the call of Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos Jr. to submit their courtesy resignation.

This prompted PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen to lead the signing of the courtesy resignation of his men and submitted himself to the investigation process that will be conducted by a five-man committee.

The Central Luzon top cop stressed that this is the chance for all police officials to clear their names and  prove that they are supporting the internal cleansing program as well as the transformation of the PNP organization.

“The entire PRO3 personnel are giving their all-out support to our SILG and our  PNP chief in their call for genuine internal cleansing program,” Pasiwen said.
