MACABEBE, Pampanga – A 9-month-old baby from Purok Bukangliwayway 1, Barangay Candelaria here drowned in rising tidal waters inside her own home, according to a report from this town’s Disaster Risk and Management Office.
The report said the baby girl was declared dead on arrival by an attending physician at the Domingo B. Flores Memorial Hospital where she was rushed on July 13.
Reports indicate that the baby was under the care of her father when she fell from the bed while tidal waters were rising, along with a strong current.
