BACOLOR, Pampanga – Residents of this town warmly welcomed Mayor Eduardo “Diman” Datu and his slate during the first two days of the campaign period for the May elections.
On March 25, Datu and his runnningmate for vice mayor – Ron Earvin Dungca – were cheered as they visited residents in Barangay Calibutbut. They were also with their councilor candidates – Angie Angeles, Steekie Blanco, Renz Canlas, Aiza Mae Cunanan, Cynthia David, Carlax Laxa, Crispin Joy Rivera and Joel Samia.
“I am happy the people realize we work hard since we became mayor, especially during the pandemic. I was there for the people during hard times,” said the re-electionist mayor.
On March 26, Datu and his team staged their opening salvo at the Bulaon resettlement where majority of the residents are from Bacolor. They attended a holy mass at 7:00 am before visiting the houses of the residents.
Thousands of Bulaon residents gladly welcomed first-term Mayor Datu and his partymates.
Dungca vowed to work closely with Datu to continue the developments in Bacolor. He is running unopposed.
