The Bataan police and the PDEA on Thursday arrested five suspected drug peddlers and dismantled a drug den in Sitio Siloy, Bgy. Sibacan, Balanga, Bataan.
Bataan police acting director Col. Romell Velasco said his men and members of the Bataan PDEU nabbed suspects Arman Manuel, 41; Ruben Manuel alias Tagalog, 53; Arcenio Manuel, 59, all of Sitio Siloy, Bgy. Sibacan; Mark Darwin Santos alias Dawong, 35, of San Carlos, Bgy. Sibacan; and Michael Amigable, 25, of Bgy. San Carlos, Orion, Bataan.
Seized from the suspects were six plastic sachets of shabu weighing at least 12 grams worth P81,600, several drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
All the suspects will be charged with violations of RA 9165.
Vasco lauded his men for their consistent fight against illegal drugs.
