Bulacan busts kill drug suspect, nab 8 shabu pushers, 4 felons

CAMP OLIVAS — A drug suspect was neutralized in a drug-bust operation on Wednesday, while eight drug pushers and four wanted felons were apprehended in enhanced police operations in Bulacan.

In report to PRO3 Brig.Gen. Cesar Pasiwen, Bulacan police OIC Col. Relly Arnedo identified the fatality as Edgar Labay, following an armed encounter in an entrapment launched by the San Ildefonso police in Bgy. Pinaod, San Ildefonso.

Five sachets of suspected shabu, one .45 pistol, and bust money were seized from Labay.

Meanwhile, in Bgy. Mojon, Malolos City,  police recovered in a buy-bust some P136,000 worth of shabu from drug dealer Alvin Jingco, 46, of Tugatog, Meycauayan City.

Meanwhile, an estimated total of P101,292 worth of shabu were seized by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) operatives of CSJDM, San Ildefonso, Sta. Maria, San Rafael and Plaridel PS from seven drug peddlers.

The manhunt operations by tracker teams from the CSJDM, Plaridel, and Pandi police led to the capture of four wanted felons for various crimes.

Pasiwen said the Bulacan PNP will not allow drug and crime personalities to spread their illegal activities in the province.
