Bulacan cops recover P2.7-M worth of stolen telephone wire

CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS – Marilao police recovered some 770 meters of stolen telephone wire, worth around P2,772,000, from the six suspects they arrested during an operation.

In a report submitted to Police Regional office 3 Director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, Bulacan police acting director Col. Charlie Cabradilla  identified the theft suspects as Mark Christopher Esteron, Daniel Anasco, and Raymond Salvador, all from Quezon City; Randolfh Orejudos, of Caloocan City; Junfel Bryan Lagrido, of Rodriguez, Rizal; and Joeven Libaoco, of  City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM).

Also recovered from them were 200 pairs of 22-gauge cable wires at least 350 meters long, three ladders and one set of toolbox.

The items were allegedly stolen by the suspects from Racitelcom Inc. in Saog, Marilao.

Meanwhile, the prompt response of Norzagaray police led to the arrest of Rene Montenegro, 40, native of Surigao Province, for violation of RA 10591, in San Mateo, Norzagaray. Recovered from Montenegro were a .22 toy gun, one cellphone, and a black backpack.

A series of anti-drug operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Plaridel, Bocaue, Balagtas, Angat, Norzagaray and Hagonoy led to the arrest of seven drug peddlers and seizure of 24 sachets of shabu and the bust money.

Tracker teams of CSJDM and Malolos City police arrested three wanted persons identified as Joel Jonathan De Guzman, for violation of Ecological Solid Waste Act 2000 or R.A. 9003; Jhonel Casiano and Jhopet Alonzo, for attempted homicide.
