Bulacan sting nets 2 drug suspects

CAMP OLIVAS — Central Luzon police director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay on Tuesday reported the arrest of two suspected drug peddlers.

Bulacan police chief Col. Rommel Ochave identified the suspect as pedicab driver Gerrad Pascual, 39, of Bgy. Gulod, Novaliches, Quezon City and Judjane Solivio, 41, a taxi driver residing in Western Bicutan, Taguig City.

The two were arrested by Intel operatives of Bulacan PDEU, PIU-Bulacan PPO and Malolos CPS in an entrapment operation in Bgy. Mojon, City of Malolos.

Seized from them were five plastic sachets containing shabu valued at P340,000 and the marked money.

The two will be charged with violation of RA 9165.

“With the continuous arrest and neutralization of drug peddlers, the proliferation of illegal drugs and destruction of many lives are prevented,” Baccay said.
