Capitol installs water pumps in Northville

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Two water pumps have been installed by the provincial government at the Northville Resettlement in San Fernando over the weekend, giving residents access to free and clean water.

On behalf of Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, Board Member Ananias Canlas Jr., and former Board Member Mylyn Pineda Cayabyab led the ceremonial inauguration of the newly installed water pumps.

Vice Governor Pineda personally showed how the water pumps work by helping children in the area use the water for bathing. Residents also received water containers.

She emphasized that the project was initiated to support residents who had their water supply cut off, ensuring that their basic water needs are met.

“The installation of these water pumps is a lifeline for families who have faced water shortages in the area. This is just the beginning, as the Provincial Government is committed to ensuring that no household is left without access to clean water,” said Vice Governor Pineda.

In addition to the two newly installed pumps, the Provincial Government plans to set up eight more water pumps to serve the entire Northville Resettlement community.

Vice Governor Nanay  was joined by PG-ENRO Head Arthur Punsalan, Provincial Engineer Noli Pangan, and PSWD Officer Fe Manarang in making this initiative possible.
