CAMP OLIVAS – PRO3 director Brig Gen. Oscar Pasiwen reported that Central Luzon cops seized more than P1.2 million worth of illegal drugs and arrested seven suspected drug peddlers in a two-day anti-illegal drug operations in Pampanga, Bulacan, and Nueva Ecija.
Joint operatives of RPDEU3, SCU3, Floridablanca police and PDEA RO III conducted a buy-bust in Bgy. Sta Monica, Floridanlanca, Pampanga that resulted to the arrest of Channy Zulueta alias “Datu”; Ed Paulo Magbanua; and Christina Marie Tan. Seized from them were five plastic sachets and one knot-tied plastic of shabu weighing at least 130 grams valued at P884,000.
Meanwhile, joint elements of the Marilao police and SOU3-PDEG conducted a buy-bust Brgy. Ibayo, Marilao, Bulacan that led to the arrest of Edmond Pascual, 47; and Ramon Christopher Borris, 34.
Some seven plastic sachets of shabu worth P176,120 were seized from the suspects.
Two suspected drug peddlers identified as Anyernel Reyes, 34; and Ronel Roxas, 32, were arrested by members of the Cabanatuan police, PDEA RO3 Nueva Ecija and PDEG SOU3 in an entrapment in Bry. San Josef Norte, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
Confiscated from the two were seven plastic sachets containing shabu valued at P93,636.
Supect Jomar Abarrondo, 20, was nabbed by the Malolos police SDEU, SOU3, PNDDEG, and PDEA PRO3 in Barangay Pinagbakahan, City of Malolos, Bulacan and seized from him were one plastic sachet of shabu and one brick of dried marijuana worth P120,000 together with the marked money.
All the suspects will be charged with violations of RA 9165.
“We will continuously launch operations to account and arrest all persons sought by law to rid our communities of lawless elements,”PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN Cesar R Pasiwen said.
