Clark Freeport now has Levy Laus Avenue

CLARK FREEPORT — One of the avenues inside this Freeport has been named in honor of the late Laus Group of Companies founder Levy P. Laus (LPL).

The Levy Laus Avenue, located inside Berthaphil 2 Complex, was named by top business locators and stockholders inside the business estate led by Peter Herman.

Herman, during the recent visit of LGC President Paul Laus, presented the avenue sign to the latter, who was expressed appreciation for the gesture and the friendship the former established with the family from his late father up to the present.

The late LPL, who was a leading advocate for countryside development, served as president and chief executive officer of the Clark Development Corporation from 2006 to 2008.

He put up a small automotive dealership in 1978 with a small capital and just three cars on display – a far cry from today’s Laus Group of Companies which is now a diversified conglomerate of automotive dealerships and is now considered the largest multi-brand dealership network in the Philippines.
