Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon vowed to speed up big-ticket transport projects to ease the daily plight of commuters and help them save time as the powerful Commission on Appointments (CA) on Wednesday officially approved the ad interim appointment of the transport chief.
The members of the Commission on Tuesday expressed their overwhelming support to Secretary Dizon.
Secretary Dizon reiterated President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.โs order to improve the lives of Filipinos by addressing issues faced by the transport sector.
โI was asked by the President to make the lives of our commuters more comfortable, safe and to fast-track the ongoing projects that will uplift the lives of our commuters on a daily basis,โ Secretary Dizon said Tuesday, addressing the members of the CA.
The transport chief expressed his gratitude to the commission, saying he intends to fulfill the Presidentโs order by providing commuter-centered projects through comfortable, efficient and safe public transportation.
