CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — A total of 4,026 Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced (TUPAD) Workers who rendered a 10-day work service in their respective communities received ₱4,500 each from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), in coordination with the Provincial Government of Pampanga.
Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, together with some provincial and DOLE officials, led the salary pay-out held at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center (BZGCC) on Monday, January 16.

He also asked the TUPAD workers to be aware of some individuals allegedly claiming to be a part of the program to illegally collect money.

TUPAD, as defined by the DOLE, is “a community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for displaced, underemployed, and seasonal workers for a period of ten (10) to thirty (30) days.”
