CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – A 264-linear meter concrete road in Purok 4, Barangay San Matias in Lubao town has just been completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Pampanga 2nd District Engineering Office.
“The President wants to strengthen the agricultural sector by improving rural infrastructure such as roads that will facilitate better movement of goods,” District Engineer Gregorio Audea Jr. said.
“With the completion of the road improvement project, farmers and residents are now provided with the infrastructure needed to help them achieve farm productivity,” Audea added.
The improved accessibility brought about by the road will encourage economic development in the area, and bring positive changes in the lives of residents.
Some P4.9 million was earmarked for the infrastructure that was funded under the General Appropriations Act of 2022.
