Five drug peddlers were arrested in an entrapment on Thursday in Bgy. Villa Angeles in Orion, Bataan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 Director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, Bataan Police director Col. Romell Velasco said the PDEU Bataan led by Maj. Phoe Pangan Jr. along with personnel of Orion police led by Maj. Roger Cenio together with 1st PMFC Bataan headed by Lt. Jayson Clutario, conducted the buy-bust and arrested John Kevin Manla, 30, of Poblacion Pilar, Bataan; Jayson Paguio, 24, of Calungusan Orion, Bataan; Jerry Monla, 54, of Poblacion Pilar, Bataan; Mateo Aquino, 24, of San Vicente Orion, Bataan; Jiesl Angeles, 29, of Calungusan Orion, Bataan.
Velasco said three small transparent plastic sachets and one large transparent plastic sachet containing shabu weighing at least 50 grams amounting to P400,000; one .45 and .22 caliber gun with one magazine loaded with seven live bullets, and the marked money were also confiscated.
Al the suspects will be charged with violation of Sections 5 and 11, Art II of RA 9165 and Violation of RA 10591.
“’With the constant arrest and neutralization of illegal drug personalities in the province illegal drug traders will have less opportunity to propagate illegal drug here in Central Luzon,” Baccay said.
