CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — SM malls in this city and Apalit town received special citations from the Department of Social Welfare and Development Region 3 for their active participation and continuous efforts through their corporate social responsibility arm SM Foundation Inc.
The recognition was personally given by DSWD Regional Director Dr. Jonathan Dirain to SM Regional Operations Manager for North 5 Andrea Madlangbayan-Rodriguez.
The heart of SM Supermalls, SM Foundation Inc., focuses on social inclusion by nurturing and caring for the underserved communities where SM is present. Programs implemented this year include the simultaneous nationwide distribution of Noche Buena Packages over the holidays to program beneficiaries of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) of Mangrove Planting Project in Barangay Consuelo in Macabebe and Bears of Joy which brings happiness to the kids in the region.

Assistant Regional Director Venus Rebuldela, SM Senior Public Relations Manager for Central Luzon Rain Cervantes, SM City Telabatastagan Mall Manager Lana Erroba and SM City Pampanga Assistant Mall Manager Charm Bacani.
