Foreign investors keen to put up Hemodialysis Center in Mabalacat

MABALACAT CITY – Foreign representatives of Hemant Surgical Industries, Ltd., paying a courtesy visit to the Mabalacat city government on Nov. 16, are proposing to put up a hemodialysis center in the city complimenting to the goal of the administration of Mayor Crisostomo Garbo.

Mayor Garbo, who plans on improving the city’s health programs, warmly welcomed Kaushik Shah, Vishal Takkar and Dr. Arindam Banerjee and their proposal. Also welcoming the visitors were city administrator Franco Alejo Madlangbayan, city legal officer Atty. Francis Dimaliwat, city planning officer Rosan Paquia, city information officer Jose Aubrey Pelayo IV, and Office for the Special Adviser for Flagship Programs for Health (OSAFPH) head Dr. Jose Antonio Rivera.

Being the focal person for health in the League of Cities of the Philippines and a graduate of medicine himself, Garbo aims to provide a top-quality facility that would cater to the medical needs of Mabalaquenians.

“One of my promised flagship projects in my second term is to create a high-standard dialysis center that could accommodate more Mabalaquenians who will be needing the treatment,” the local chief said.

Aside from the hemodialysis center, Garbo is also looking into putting up a wellness center and exploring the possibility of having a research lab for other diseases.

Garbo also sent his regards and extended his gratitude to the Indian nationals for choosing Mabalacat City as one of their chosen locations given their vast global experience in health care.

“Being visited by a reputable foreign investor like the Hemant Surgical Industries is a significant indicator that the international private sector acknowledges our sincere efforts in the local government in pursuing to provide our fellow Mabalaquenians the best services and the proper treatment that they deserve,” Garbo added.

Mabalacat city is known to be strategically located for its accessibility with numerous entry points from North Luzon expressway, South Luzon expressway, and the national road of MacArthur highway, as well as its close proximity to Clark Freeport Zone.
