Hausland group donates 100 tablets to CCSFP students

The Hausland Group, through its flagship brand, Fiesta Communities, Inc. (FCI), recently donated 100 tablets to the student council of the City College of San Fernando Pampanga (CCSFP).

This initiative was in response to an appeal from the CCSFP Supreme Student Council, highlighting the urgent need to bridge the digital divide and ensure learning continuity for all students. Many learners face challenges in accessing digital tools, which are vital for education, particularly during calamities, disasters, or class disruptions.

“Let’s face it, ang mga estudyante ngayon, talagang di sila makakapag-survive kung wala silang tablet or computers. Kahit nga ang mga teachers ngayon, computer na rin ang ginagamit nila,” said Mayor Caluag stressing the importance of equipping the youth with the tools necessary to continue their education and thrive. She further added, “I want to give them a weapon na panglaban po nila sa pagsusunog ng kilay.”

The donated tablets, pre-installed with e-learning resources, provide CCSFP students with the means to continue their education from home, ensuring that they can overcome challenges caused by technological and financial limitations.

The initiative was spearheaded by Philip Anthony Tan, FCI Deputy COO; Marivel Dizon, Acquisitions and Permits Manager; and Karen Gail Camus, FCI Marketing Manager, who played critical roles in facilitating the partnership between the City Government and Hausland Group.

As the leading real estate developer in the region, the company is actively investing in the future of San Fernando’s youth and reaffirms its mission to provide not just homes, but pathways to a better quality of life, recognizing that education is the cornerstone of sustainable development.
