MAGALANG, Pampanga – “I will establish a government that listens to the people.”

Thus said Magalang Mayor Maria Lourdes “Malu” Paras Lacson during her inaugural speech at the Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) on June 30.

“Our decisions will be based on the will of the people” she added.

Lacson vowed to improve “all facets of services to the people.”

“Every Magaleño deserves to have a leader who shall be a model by heart, by spirit and by deed,” Lacson said. “In the next three years, I shall take on your trust and confidence as my moral compass in giving you quality leadership.”

Lacson announced the establishment of a “mega dialysis center” at the district hospital here in cooperation with Pampanga Gov. Dennis Pineda.

She said she will also work closely with First District Rep. Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin to “best deliver” the projects and programs to the people.

Lacson thanked her people for the convincing win she got during the recent elections.

“The election is over. The Magaleños boldly expressed their stand, and with the overwhelming victory you have gifted us, it follows that I have a big responsibility to the people,” she said.
