MABALACAT CITY — To provide updated traffic codes and related laws, the Mabalacat City Traffic Enforcement Group (MCTEG) personnel underwent an orientation and deputization seminar with the Land Transportation Office-Region III on Tuesday, Aug. 9.
City legal officer Atty. Francis Dimaliwat facilitated the seminar, which also aims to guide MCTEG personnel in the implementation of traffic rules, and help qualify MCTEG personnel to become deputized officers.
The assigned deputies will be authorized to confiscate driver’s licenses and impound vehicles of motorists when necessary.
The deputization seminar is a project of the LTO to authorized and selected traffic enforcers to provide better service for the motorists.
