Mabalacat LGU distributes cash-for-work payout to youth

The Mabalacat City Government, led by Mayor Cris Garbo, spearheaded the distribution of payouts to participants of the youth profiling program.

The event took place at the Dolores covered court, where 120 beneficiaries received a sum of P9,500 each.

The initiative, known as the Cash for Work program, aims to empower the youth by providing them with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to their community while earning a fair wage. By participating in various community projects and initiatives through the City Youth Development Office, these young individuals not only gained valuable skills and experiences but also developed a sense of responsibility and pride in giving back to our city.

Mayor Garbo expressed his appreciation for the hard work and dedication shown by the participants. He emphasized the importance of investing in the younger generation and creating avenues for them to actively participate in shaping the future of Mabalacat City.

According to CYDO head Jaira Lomahan, the distribution of the cash for work payouts signifies the city government’s commitment to supporting its youth and strengthen a culture of inclusivity and empowerment.
