Mayor Malu Paras-Lacson has pledged her full support to Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin’s congressional bid.
This was gleaned during Lazatin’s declaration to run for representative in the 1st District of Pampanga on June 28 at the Plaza Magalang, which coincided with the 90th birthday commemoration of his late father Congressman Tarzan Lazatin.
Mayor Lacson emphasized that the accomplishments of current Congressman Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II in the 1st district of Pampanga, particularly in Magalang, are felt by the Magaleños. Mayor Paras-Lacson expressed confidence that this progress will continue when Mayor Pogi Lazatin assumes the role of Congressman.
Other notable figures who attended the event and showed their support include Governor Dennis G. Pineda, incumbent Congressman Lazatin, Mabalacat Mayor Cris Garbo, Board Member Win-Win Garbo, and Angeles City Vice Mayor Vicky Vega Cabigting.
Mayor Lacson was joined by Magalang Barangay Officials and members of the Sangguniang Bayan.
