MABALACAT CITY – A man reportedly shot himself in the head on Monday along D. Macapagal Highway inside the Clark Freeport, reports said.
A spot report identified the victim as Charles Ocay Craw, 43, of No. 2023 A. Silahis St., Sta. Ana, Manila.
The victim’s companion, who requested not to be named, told police that Craw picked her up from her place of work and went around Clark. Upon reaching the area, the victim parked his vehicle, a Suzuki Jimny (NED 9229), on the right portion of the road to smoke.
After 15 minutes, the companion said she heard a gunshot and when she looked outside the car, she saw the victim lying on the pavement in a pool of blood.
She asked for help from a security guard who reported the incident to the Clark Development Corporation and later on to the police, for investigation and proper disposition of the body.
The companion told police the victim had a business problem.
