CAMP OLIVAS – A most wanted fugitive, who has been in hiding for 13 years, was finally arrested on Saturday by the Nueva Ecija police.
Members of the RIU3 together with RIU14, Gapan City police, Nueva Ecija PPO, RID3, Alfonso Lista police, 22nd SAC, 2SAC arrested Romulo Garcia alias Mulong, 72, of Barangay San Vicente, Gapan City, Nueva Ecija, for rape based on a warrant issued by the Alfonso Lista, Ifugao RTC in 2009 with no bail recommended.
Garcia was one of the national most wanted persons of the Department of the Interior and Local Government with a P90,000 reward for his arrest.
“We are continuously stepping up our campaign to eradicate all forms of crimes in the region,” PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said.
