Month-long activities set for CSF’s Kaganapan 2024

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The city government has lined up various activities this month to celebrate its 23rd cityhood anniversary.

Mayor Vilma Caluag is expected to lead the events this February. The city is celebrating its heritage and progress through the Kaganapan
2024.

Caluag, Kaganapan 2024 Chairperson Architect Janine Canda, co-chairperson and Councilor Rosemary Calimlim, City Tourism Officer Ching Pangilinan and City Administrator Nelson Lingat led the launching of the month-long celebration  last January 29.

Pangilinan said the Kaganapan 2024 will be a fusion of traditional celebration. She added that it will also be showcasing the city’s progress through the highlight of the administration’s big-ticket projects.

Among the activities slated includes the opening of the Super Health Center, Wedding in the City (mass wedding ceremony), Kaganapan trade fair, International disability day, refill revolution and national bonsai show.

“Mayor Caluag is excited for all the events. She is eagerly waiting for the opening of the Super Health Center. You know very well that health care is one of the priorities of her administration,“ said Pangilinan.

Other activities are Tribute to teachers heroes,  clean-up drive, trade fairs, tribute to local political and socio-civic leaders, and thanksgiving mass.
