ANGELES CITY – More free shoes, T-shirts, and bags with school supplies were distributed today to students of the Pineda-Gutierrez Elementary School, Salapungan Elementary School, Belen Homesite Elementary School and Mining Elementary School.
Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. personally delivered the items, joined by Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, City Councilors JC Aguas, Dan Lacson, Atty. Arvin Suller and Marino Bañola.
With the supervision of Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, members of the Gender and Development Office, City Nutrition Office, Angeles City Emergency Command Center, General Services Office, and City Engineer’s Office joined and assisted the Mayor Lazatin during the distribution.
One of the inauguration promises of Mayor Lazatin is to provide quality and accessible education, saying “No Angeleño youth will be left behind in terms of education.”
