It’s a unique usage for a garage. Something where vintage audio and toys can be enjoyed by friends and family.
And quite an offering of fun as delicious meals can be shared as well.
The Garage is a place for vinyl records and vintage toys. Serious collectors — from audiophiles to those who just started into analog formats — this is one place you should not miss.
It’s in Tarlac City, less than a 2-hour drive from Metro Manila. Your travel would definitely be worth it.
This is a not just a record store. This is a coffee shop. And there are very few joints like this in Central Luzon.
I must admit this is the first one i visited in this part of the country. This is after frolicking in one, not in Metro Manila. Not in capital City of San Fernando (where i heard there is one). But in New York City where I braved then the still dreaded Covid, monkey pox and Asian hate crime.
There are hardwares too: amplifiers, receivers, speakers — much of the audio equipment. There are rare Luxmans, Tannoys, Marantzes, Altecs, JBLs — from circa 50s and 60s.
More than your ears, you can satisfy your soul too with by-appointment auditions. Thanks to kind owners who offer this for free.
Yes, in a uniquely satisfying listening room where you can raise your leg on a stool. Do not abuse their kindness though. Oh you can compensate the listening with your orders of food and drinks.
Great music and great food – try The Garage
