Since enforcing the Anti-Overloading Law (Republic Act No. 8794) last August, the KALAM quarry regulatory unit of the Pampanga Provincial Government has issued 2,309 hauling passes to 2,414 trucks whose owners have voluntarily cut the sidings of their vehicles to comply with the gross weight allowed on roads and bridges, especially on the NLEX Candaba viaduct, which is undergoing rehabilitation, Governor Dennis Pineda said on Monday.
