MASANTOL, Pampanga — Over a thousand Kapampangans from the towns of Masantol and Macabebe received medical services through the Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare Program of Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda.
On behalf of Governor Pineda, Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Masantol Mayor Jose Antonio Bustos, personally attended to the patients who visited the Masantol Civic Center on Friday, April 12.
Alagang Nanay Program’s visit in Masantol marked the seventh town visited by the program.
“Iniikot natin ang buong Pampanga pero syempre isa sa mga priority natin ang Masantol at Macabebe mayroon kasi silang mga coastal at mga lugar na malayo sa mga ospital. Tatapusin lahat iyan, ang importante lahat ng 45 years old and above ma-blood chem para malaman nila yung sakit nila,” said Vice Governor Nanay.”
During the medical mission, Vice Gov Nanay disclosed Capitol’s plans to establish a diagnostic center in the town. According to her, the proposed center will serve and monitor the health conditions of Kapampangans, particularly those facing challenges traveling from the fourth district of Pampanga.
Beneficiaries received free health services such as free medical check-ups, eye screenings, and dental extraction. Additionally, all patients were provided with medication and food packs from Capitol.
“Dacal a dacal pung salamat, Godbless pu kekayungan, talagang paniniyan da kayu pu.” said Remedios Mallari, one of the beneficiaries of the program.
The Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare Program is a flagship initiative led by Governor Delta which aims to prioritize the health and well-being of residents across Pampanga and to ensure accessible healthcare services for all.
