CAMP GENERAL ALEJO S SANTOS — The joint operation of the Marilao police as the lead unit, together with the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) on Wednesday resulted in the seizure of an estimated P13,940,000 worth of shabu and arrest of a suspected drug dealer in Bgy. Loma De Gato, Marilao, Bulacan.
In a report submitted to PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen, Bulacan police Col. Relly Arnedo said suspect Marlon Palmario, 44, of Novaliches, Caloocan City, was arrested for selling one medium-sized plastic sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer.
Confiscated during the buy-bust were two packs of high-grade shabu inside a Chinese tea bag weighing at least 2,050.0 grams valued at P13,940,000 and the 67 pieces of P1,000 boodle money.
The suspect and the confiscated illegal drugs were taken to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination and filing of complaint against the suspect .
Pasiwen said the Bulacan police vows to get rid of illegal drugs in the province.
