Pamintuan appointed acting CDC chair

CLARK FREEPORT — Former Angeles City Mayor Edgardo D. Pamintuan has been appointed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as acting chairman and member of the board of directors of the state-owned Clark Development Corp. (CDC).

This was gleaned through an appointment letter addressed to Delfin Lorenzana, chair of CDC’s mother agency, the Bases Conversion and Development Corp, dated Jan. 11.

Pamintuan was first appointed CDC chairman during this stint of former President Rodrigo Duterte. A human right lawyer, he also headed the National Housing Authority, and the Subic-Clark Development Alliance during the term of then-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
