PRO3 anti-crime drive nets 368 law offenders, over P1M drugs

CAMP OLIVAS – Some 368 individuals were arrested while more than P1 million worth of illegal drugs and nearly P50,000 cash bets were seized in PRO3’s weeklong anti-crime operations.

Of the 368 arrested, 138 persons have standing warrants of arrest, 25 are most wanted with strings of warrants, 118 were nabbed for illegal drugs, 106 were accosted for illegal gambling, while 6 were apprehended for violation of special laws.

Meanwhile, 289  plastic sachets of shabu weighing 207.8 grams worth  P1.4 million and  17 sachets of marijuana weighing more than two kilos amounting to more than P240,000 were seized, along with the confiscation of bet money amounting to P47,177.00.

PRO3 director brig. Gen. Matthew baccay said these accomplishments particularly the arrest of most wanted fugitives, people involved in illegal drugs and street crimes were the results of the strong support of all local chief executives and the community in the anti-crime programs of the PNP-PRO3.
