CAMP OLIVAS – About 1,500 individuals from various advocacy support groups and force multipliers attended the “Duterte Legacy Caravan Project thru Convergence of all Government Agencies” hosted by Police Regional Office 3 and facilitated by PLt. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia, Deputy Chief for Administration, last Monday in this camp.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said the activity was a manifestation of strong support of the PNP to the national government by informing the public of its policies, programs, and variety of services that could help bring about real change in the communities.
Also, the Regional Police Community Affairs and Development Division and Pampanga PPO facilitated the implementation of the Talipapa Project, in which Indigenous People from the province of Pampanga sold their local products inside the camp to make a good profit.
DILG Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya, who was the guest of honor and speaker, lauded PRO3 for the well-orchestrated conduct of the event.
Participating agencies in Region 3 included the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency, Department of Health, Department of Agriculture, Department of Agrarian Reform, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Department of Trade and Industry, National Economic Development Authority, National Commission of Indigenous People, Office of the Civil Defense, Department of Education, Mines and Geoscience Bureau, Philippine Statistics Authority, 7th Infantry Division, Philippine Army and the different PRO3 Units provided their basic services to the advocacy support groups and force multipliers.
“Sa pamamagitan ng ating gawain ngayong umaga, ang Duterte Legacy Caravan ay naipadadama sa bawat isa, sa bawat Filipino na mayroon tayong pamahalaan na patuloy na mangangalaga sa kapakanan ng bawat isa,” Baccay said.
