CAMP OLIVAS – The Police Regional Office 3 recently launched the revitalized “Kasimbayanan” which stands for Kapulisan, Simbahan, at Pamayanan at the PRO3 Makatao Activity Center here.
Atty. Anthony C Nuyda, CESO III, Regional Director, DILG REGION 3 was the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
The revitalized Kasimbayanan is PRO3’s synergized partnership with the general public and religious sectors which aims to promote camaraderie towards a progressive and peaceful community.
The activity was highlighted with the different messages of support of faith-based group leaders, Kasimbayanan partners and other stakeholders.
In his response message, PRO3 Regional Director PBGen. Cesar R. Pasiwen said, “We always say that every member of society has the duty to help address crime and lawlessness in the country. Kaya naman po kami sa PNP ay nagpapasalamat na patuloy ang inyong pagtulong sa pagpapanatili ng kaayusan at kapayapaan upang mabilis na masolusyunan ang mga kriminalidad sa ating komunidad.”
“As the police force nurtures its relationship with the community, we will seek to organize the community as peace advocates thru the help of our volunteer religious leaders as we aspire for a more empowered police community partnership for lasting peace attaining a safer place to live, work and do business,” Pasiwen added.
A forum on the implementation of revitalized PNP Kasimbayanan for faith-based volunteers followed right after the program.
