CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Mark Villar, one of the leading candidates for senator, vowed to push for livelihood once elected.
In press conference here on Friday, Villar said ‘livelihood and more employment” will definitely help uplift the economy, especially amid the pandemic.
Villar said he will also instill in the minds of Filipinos the importance of “sipag at tiyaga” in “our daily lives.”
He added that he will help businesses in the country through legislations and projects.
Villar is one of the top five senators in various surveys conducted since the start of the campaign period.
“I am happy about the results of the survey. But we are not putting our guards down. We will campaign hard until the very end,” said Villar in the dialect. He was a former Public Works Secretary under the Duterte government.
Villar was in Pampanga on Friday during the campaign rally of the Uniteam.
