CANDABA, Pampanga — The Pampanga police arrested on Tuesday a man who allegedly killed his father and mother by hitting them with a rock in the head in Sitio Highway, Brgy. Mapaniqui, Candaba, this town.
Police identified the victims as spouses Jesus Bangit, 63; and Merlita Bangit, 57, both of Sitio Highway, Bgy. Mapaniqui, Candaba; and their son Jeffrey Bangit, 38, as suspect.
Police probers said the victims were sleeping when the suspect hit them in the head with a rock. They sustained fatal wounds resulting to their instantaneous death.
Canadaba cops conducted a follow-up operation which led to the arrest of the suspect, who will be charged with parricide.
