GUAGUA, Pampanga – A suspected drug peddler included in the PDEA target list was arrested on Thursday by agents of PDEA Region III and the local police in an entrapment operation in Barangay Ascomo here.
The suspect was identified as Jaime Marquez, 40, of Purok 3, Bgy. Ascomo this town.
Marquez yielded some three plastic sachets containing less than 10 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P68,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
The suspect will be charged with violation for Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs), Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) and Section 12 (possession of drug paraphernalia) of the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
