CAMP OLIVAS – The leader of the notorious “Tayag” crime group was arrested on Wednesday in a manhunt operation in Tarlac.
Joint operating troops of Concepcion MPS, 1st PMFC Tarlac, CIDG PFU3 Tarlac, 304th RMFB, PHPT Tarlac, PIDMU, RID, PRO3, RIU3 Tarlac PIT, DEG 3, and PIU-TPPO conducted a manhunt operation in Brgy. Sta. Monica, Concepcion, Tarlac that resulted to the arrest of high value target Rollie Tayag, 44, tagged as the leader of the “Tayag” crime gang, based on a warrant for violation of RA 9165 issued by the Capas, Tarlac RTC Branch 66.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay lauded his men, saying the successful arrest was the result of extensive surveillance operations initiated by combined units to bring fugitives to the folds of justice and answer for the crimes they committed.
