CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS – Over P700,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized, while 382 law offenders were arrested during Bulacan PNP’s weeklong Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO).
In a report to Bulacan police director Col. Charlie Cabradilla, P797,764 worth of illegal drugs were seized in a series of anti-illegal drug operations by members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Municipal/City Police Stations, PMFC and PIU of the Bulacan police which also resulted in the arrest of 90 drug suspects.
Recovered from the operations were 267 sachets of shabu weighing approximately 94.80 grams; and 21 sachets of dried marijuana leaves weighing approximately 1,332.4 grams, including assorted drug paraphernalia and buy-bust money.
Meanwhile, three suspects were arrested during search warrant operations while 17 most wanted persons and 98 others were arrested in different manhunt operations by the tracker team of different Bulacan police stations, along with the Mobile Force Companies of this Police Provincial Office with joint efforts of 301st MC RMFB-3, Bulacan PHPT, 24th Special Action Company (SAF), 3rd SOU-Maritime Group, CIDG Bulacan.
On the other hand, 168 suspects were arrested in anti-illegal gambling operations. They were caught playing tong-its, pusoy, bet game, billiard games, cara y cruz, mah-jong, illegal cockfighting and STL bookies.
“Oplan Katok” operations yielded 74 firearms that were surrendered to different police stations for safekeeping while six suspects were arrested with a total of eight firearms confiscated for Violation of Omnibus Election Code Violation/ illegal possession of unregistered/ loose firearms.
Some 2,044 unregistered and undocumented motorcycles were also impounded for safekeeping and verification.
These accomplishments of the Bulacan police SACLEO are manifestations of its unyielding efforts and relentless campaign against wanted persons, illegal drugs, loose firearms, illegal gambling and all other lawless activities, in line with the directive of the Chief PNP and PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Mathew Baccay.
