CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Police are now looking into the case of a 23-year-old man who was shot to death by two armed men on a motorcycle in front of a restaurant in Barangay Sto. Domingo, Angeles City early Sunday evening.
Police Regional Office 3 director Brigadier General Jose Hidalgo Jr. identified the victim as Jan Adrian Guzon, single and a resident of Lot 35, Block 9, Champaka Drive, Town and Country Homes in Barangay Sto. Domingo.
According to a police report, the victim died on the spot due to multiple gunshot wounds in the body.
Initial police investigation disclosed that the victim was on board a motorcycle parked on the shoulder of the road when the suspects approached from behind and shot him at close range.
After hitting the victim with the first shot, the gunman alighted from the back of the motorcycle and pumped more bullets into the helpless victim before fleeing from the crime scene.
Police said a CCTV installed in the area recorded the entire incident before and after the shooting.
The incident took place only a few meters away from the headquarters of the Angeles City Police Office in Camp Pepito.
Police are still establishing the motive of the killing if it is drug related or not.
