PORAC, Pampanga – Sen. Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri vowed to push for “Bayanihan 3,” allowing the people to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The proposed law, Zubiri added, would grant P10,000 financial assistance to poor Filipinos.
“This is a one-time, big-time aid to every poor family,” said Zuburi, who was interviewed at the residence of Porac vice mayor candidate and Councilor Mike Tapang.
Zubiri said the cash assistance would allow the economy to improve amid the pandemic. He was instrumental in the passage of “Bayanihan” 1 and 2 laws, which gave at least P5,000 assistance to poor folk.
The senator also said he will push for “zero interest” loans for small- and medium- enterprises (SMEs). He will help the tourism sector recover, especially in Pampanga and the rest of the provinces in Central Luzon.
Meanwhile, Zubiri said he was never absent for the sessions of the Senate. He added that “I was never involved in corruption.”
Zubiri expressed delight for entering the top 6 in the independent surveys among senators.
He thanked the residents of Porac for their warm reception during a motorcade.
